Curriculum and Year Groups

Our curriculum

We employ a contemporary teaching approach to ensure the excellent preparation of our little pupils for primary school and to build foundations for their entire lives.
1) Autonomy and independence in learning

Your child's participation in a small group provides them space and time to develop their personality and abilities, to transition smoothly from the warmth of the family environment to the preschool group setting, and helps nurture their desire to attend school every day.

The fact that we understand and respect that each child has their own personality and unique learning pace, as well as adapting our teaching to each child's needs (individualised teaching), helps our young pupils develop autonomy and self-confidence.

2) An earthy, unplugged curriculum

Your child belongs to a generation of digital natives that will have heightened environmental awareness. Since technology will be so present across their lives, we believe preschool is the perfect moment to tenderly guide your child’s innate sense of wonder to nurture real-life community, re-imagine everyday objects and connect with nature.

Everything you will see exhibited on our walls is created by the children, usually using materials we have imaginatively upcycled; we paint on the blank side of printed paper, we repurpose cardboard packaging to build dinosaurs or DIY Twister boards and we turn recycling into a game.

We organise educational trips to nearby locations of natural interest (the mountains, the beach, the zoo) and we venture into our garden to discover its wildlife, plant our school garden and check which way the wind is blowing today.

3) Learning through play

Children learn best through play. Our teachers meticulously introduce educational games that offer your child the opportunity to acquire knowledge, think outside the box, find creative solutions to problems, and collaborate with their classmates – and above all, have a lot of fun!

4) A trilingual school

Throughout the day, each of our teachers exclusively teaches and communicates with the children in her native language (Greek, French and English). This helps the children avoid confusing the languages with one another and ensures they learn them easily and experientially.
